THE LIFE CLOCK

Terms

This is the agreement between you and me when you buy The Life Clock. I've written it the way I'd explain it out loud.

In effect from 3 August 2026

Who you're buying from

The Life Clock is made and sold by Delfina Kalden, trading as shethemystic. It lives at lifeclock.online, in the same house as The Reality Gameboard at realitygameboard.com. They're separate products and separate purchases.

You can reach me at delfinakalden@gmail.com. That address is me, not a helpdesk.

What you're buying

One payment of $19 for access to The Life Clock: the Instant Reading, the Map Builder, the Forecast, the Returns ritual, the reference cards, and the downloadable pack (The Seven-Year Life Map Guide and the printable blank map).

It runs in a browser, on a phone or a laptop. There's nothing to install. It is not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, no trial that turns into a plan, nothing that renews. You pay once.

The price you see is the price you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.

How access works

Your email address is the key. When you pay, the Clock sends a sign-in code to the address you used at checkout, and that code opens the app. There's no password to remember and none to lose.

So keep the email address. If you lose access to it, write to me from wherever you can and tell me what the old address was, and I'll move your access across.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use The Life Clock for yourself, for as long as it runs. One purchase is access for one person.

Print anything you like for your own use. Show your map to your partner, your therapist, your friend at the kitchen table — your map is yours, and sharing your own life isn't redistribution. If you want to hand the tool to someone, buy them a copy; it's $19 and it means their map is theirs.

What's yours and what's mine

Everything you write in the Clock — your dates, your quakes, your chapter lines, your thread, the note you leave for your future self — belongs to you. I don't claim any ownership of it. I don't publish it, sell it, or read it for material. What happens to it technically is in the Privacy page, in detail.

The Clock itself — the writing, the readings, the engine, the design, the PDFs — is mine, and stays mine.

What the Clock is, and what it isn't

The Life Clock is a reflective instrument. You give it dates. It lays them against a seven-year rhythm, tells you where you're standing, and helps you build a map of your own life. That's what it does, and I think it's enough.

It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those. It doesn't diagnose anything. It can't tell you what will happen to you.

A forecast here means weather, not fate: a season with a name and a rough date, not an event. What you do with that is yours to decide, and the responsibility for the decision stays with you.

If something in your life needs a doctor, a therapist, an accountant or a lawyer, please go and find one. And if you're in crisis, please reach a real person today — your doctor, or a crisis line where you live. I'd rather say this plainly than let a beautiful page imply otherwise.

Using it decently

Short list, and none of it will surprise you. Don't try to get in without buying. Don't attack, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the site. Don't upload other people's private information. Don't use the Clock to harass, harm or defraud anyone.

If someone is doing those things I'll close their access. If that ever happened to you by mistake, write to me and we'll sort it out.

How long this lasts

"Yours for good" means what it says, and I still want to be straight about the shape of it. The Life Clock is hosted software run by one person. It stays up as long as I run it, and I intend to run it for a long time. Nobody can honestly promise you that a website will outlive them.

So it's built so that you never have to depend on that promise:

If I ever have to close the Clock down, I'll email buyers first and leave real time to print and download what's yours before anything goes away.

Ordinary interruptions happen too: maintenance, a provider having a bad day, a browser changing under my feet. I fix what I can, as fast as I can. Features may change as the Clock gets better. I won't quietly remove something you paid for.

Payment and refunds

Payment is handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card number.

Refunds have their own page, because the honest version takes more than a sentence: Refunds.

If something goes wrong

I've built this carefully and I stand behind it. Some limits still have to be written down.

To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything connected with The Life Clock is limited to what you paid for it. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits or lost data beyond that amount, or for decisions you make after reading your clock. The choices stay yours.

Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. And if you're a consumer, your statutory rights sit on top of these terms — nothing on this page cuts them down.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], and disputes go to the courts of [jurisdiction to be confirmed].

If you're a consumer in the UK or the EU, that doesn't take anything away from you: you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim there.

How these terms change

They'll change when the product changes. The date at the top says when the current version took effect, and the old one stops applying then. If a change matters to you as a buyer — anything about your access, your licence or your money — I'll email buyers rather than quietly swapping the page.

If a change ever means you no longer want the Clock, write to me and tell me. I'd rather hear it.
